Experience and Accomplishments:
In 1992 I participated in the V Olympic Competition of Mathematics celebrated in Chiriqui.
In 1996 I participated in the VII Olympic Competition of Mathematics celebrated in Chiriqui where I received the first place.
In 1997 I participated in the National Olympic Competition where I received the second place in the private school category.
In 1997 I was valedictorian in the San Agustin graduating group.
From 1993 to 1997 I have participated in many public presentations, playing the guitar. In 1997 my guitar and singing group received the first prize in the singing competition (I play the guitar) of the cultural week in my high school.
From 1994 to 1996 I participated in the group REMAR which is a catholic oriented organization.
From 1996 to 1997 I participated in the social service which is part of the opportunities offered in high school.
I have had study groups where I helped my friends in scientific areas such as physics, chemistry and mathematics, also English.
We have had a computer in our home since 1993. I have become very proficient in the use of computers and software like Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Internet related programs (Internet Explorer, FrontPage, Netscape) graphics utilities (like Pagemaker, Photodeluxe) and others. In 1997 I received a certificate from my school's library for my volunteer work in solving problems with the computer and for making the diagrammatic work for two editions of the magazine "Amanecer Agustiniano".
In 1997 I was a member of a selected group who where invited to the presidency for a lunch and tour with the president.
In 1998 I received the Don Guillermo Andreve diploma which is given every year to all the valedictorians from Panamá.
Right now I'm studying electrical and electronic engineering at the "Universidad Tecnológica de Chiriquí".
